Aside from "I'm A Slave For You" hitmaker, Britney Spears, "Roar" hitmaker Katy Perry has also dropped a single titled "Rise." Perry's single was chosen by NBC Olympics as an anthem before and during the Rio Games.

"Roar" hitmaker released her new single "Rise" on Thursday, July 14, in the same day when Spears released her single "Make Me," Entertainment Weekly reported. Both singles of the two artists are now available on iTunes and Apple Music.

Perry's voice is distorted and slightly computerized in some verse. In a released statement, "I Kissed A Girl" hitmaker said she was inspired to finish this piece now rather than save this in the next album because there is a need for the world to unite. She added she is honored that her piece was chosen to use as an anthem by NBC Olympics.

Perry shared the music video of her song for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio on social media. The video shows the moments of athletes. The music video was produced by Max Martin, according Rolling Stone.

Meanwhile, "Make Me," Spears' single, featuring G-Eazy, was also released on Thursday. As of now, the song, that comes from Spears' ninth studio album titled B9, has no music video, but its audio is available on Youtube. Her song was first opened up by V Magazine, as she was the cover girl.

The "...Baby One More Time" hitmaker teased her new new song on Instagram, which is an image of her. Fans may remind the image of the well-received music video "I'm Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman."

As "Make Me" starts to go viral, many Twitter users reacted. Mix 106.1 shared a screen shot image of the list of the top chart.
In the image, Spears' "Make Me" and her ex-boyfriend and NSYNC member, Justin Timberlake are battling in the chart.
Spears won the top one chart, while her ex-beau Timberlake landed on second spot.
