As far as MacBooks are concerned, Apple has a declining sales rep in the market by an alarming 8.3% and this could be because fans are waiting with bated breath for debut of Macbook Pro 2016 this October. Geared with cutting-edge innovations, the highly-anticipated laptop is expected to propel the Cupertino-based tech firm right to the top of the market sales.

Rumor mills have been swirling speculations hinting Apple has experienced a considerable decline in its sales of laptop computers. However, the decline was not experienced in performance of the company's smartphones and other mobile devices.

This is something, a slew of reports indicate that the MacBook Pro 2016 is expected to deal with, becoming the company's sole flagship, GameNGuide reported.

Apparently, these speculations are not quite baseless.

The MacBook Pro 2016 release date is rumored to be sometime in the last quarter of this year. Reports from several online tech publications earlier indicated that the MacBook Air 2016 might make an appearance earlier than its Pro equivalent.

In terms of specs, the MacBook Pro is rumored to pack a SkyLake processor and a retina display.

If these speculations turned to be true, this would be quite an interesting addition to the imminent device. Apple has so far remained mum regarding these speculations and has neither confirmed nor denied these rumors surrounding the release date and specs of the MacBook Pro 2016. Tech enthusiasts are recommended to take these speculations with a grain of salt until Apple confirms or debunks them.
