Until now, the "Ghostbusters" 2016 reboot movie is still receiving negative comnments from haters, and now, the daughter of the late "Ghostbuster" actor Harold Ramis' slammed the haters.

Since the movie released its first trailer, they received haters and negative comments from trolls. Now, Ramis' daughter, Violet Ramis Stiel has spoken to defend the new "Ghostbusters" in an op-ed for Splitsider.

She wrote that she has a mix feeling when the "Ghostbuster" 2016 was announced in 2014, which was just a few months after his dad died. "For people to say that he is 'rolling in his grave' or would never have let a female-centered cast happen is INSANE," she wrote in her article.

Before the new "Ghostbusters" movie hit the theaters, one of the lead stars, Melissa McCarthy spoke up against the haters. In a Youtube video posted by Entertainment Tonight, McCarthy slammed haters who said "you ruin my childhood."

She addressed haters, how four women doing a movie will destroy childhood. She also added those critics should find a friend. The first trailer released, got more thumbs down than thumbs down. The trailer got almost 853,000 dislikes, and only 245,627 likes. Amid negativity got from online users, currently, the reboot version holds 75% rating from Rotten Tomatoes and 61% from Metacritic.

Although, the film has been released on July 14, 2016, however, China banned the film because of an obscure censorship guideline, according to Hollywood Reporter. China's official censorship guidelines restrict promote cults or superstition. The classic or original "Ghostbusters" film, which was released on January 26, 1985, also did not screen in China.

According to "Ghostbusters" director Paul Feig, his currently launched movie needs to make at least $500 million to be profitable.

Other cast of "Ghostbusters" 2016 are Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones, Kate McKinnon, and Chris Hemsworth,with some special cameos of celebrities.
