The new student health center at Temple University will enhance the student's experience to address health and wellness needs. The Student Health and Wellness Center is two and a half story building designed by Moody Nolan.

This student health center will accommodate all of the important needs from recreational activities to academic research in College of Public Health. The building will be located at the intersection of 15^th Street and Montgomery Avenue, Temple News reported.

On the rendered image, the center depicts glass atrium and an outdoor track accessible which according to the official site, is free for public use. The indoor space is dedicated to athletics, recreational activities and clinical research.

This first-class education facility will be situated near the stadium proposed earlier. The Board of Trustees approved the initial designs of the football stadium and now the university has also gained approval for its $28.5 million facility.

Temple University spokesperson confirmed the approval of the construction cost for the new center and explained that both facilities were managed by the same architect. The construction might lead to synergy between both buildings, Philly Voice reported.

Previously, Temple University has also been constructing new tech-savvy library that will replace the current Paley Library, University Herald report. Dean Laura A. Siminoff announced that the new student health center will give many opportunities for students who need 'unique experiential learning'. In addition, the facility will also include apartment suite that follows the guidelines of Americans with Disabilities Act.

The facility will also provide student-athletes the best space to train. The new student health center is highly-anticipated by the university's athletic department as they will have 70 yard of synthetic turf field to practice their skills. The area will also multiply the free-weight training space. The construction of Student Health and Wellness Center is expected to complete in 2017.
