When Apple debuted the much-awaited iPhone 6S, contrary to getting the expected reaction from super excited iPhone fanatics, it actually turned them off - and no prizes for guessing, the phone's $650 price tag was the reason why the smartphone wasn't really well-received by the iPhone fan-base.

Samsung has come to the rescue of those dejected smartphone fans by adding to its already-impressive lineup, the Galaxy C5 and C7, which basically are carbon copy of their Apple counterpart, and also they don't burn a hole in your pocket.

A cheek to cheek image comparison of Samsung's C5 and C7 with Apple iPhone 6S conferred by Business Insider, accentuates the devices close relationship - at least as far as their cosmetic characteristics are concerned.

The comparison also threw light on the phone's slim build which is basically identical including the curved edges. But that's not all, the rear finish as well is nearly the same as Samsung's C5 and C7 have exactly same antenna band that can be found on the iPhone 6S back plater.

The only feature that seems to be different is the position of the rear camera lens, which is the right corner for Apple's iPhone and upper center for Samsung's smartphones.

But Samsung didn't stop there and went ahead fully copying the iPhone 6S finish as the Galaxy C5 and C7 will hit the shelves in Rose Gold and Gold color choices that are presented in metal finish, Yibada reported.

Although dubbed as below flagship-level devices, citing the fact that they are powered by lower-end Snapdragon chips, the Samsung C5, C7 features and specs are quite within the flagship range. In addition, it packs a mammoth 3300mAh battery, and Super AMOLED display.

Samsung ensured its new smartphones outshines the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus in crucial aspects.

With 4 GB RAM, 32 GB basic storage that can be further expanded up to 128 GB via microSD slot, Samsung seem to have outdone the iPhone that starts with a 16 GB internal memory with no option to expand storage space. Also, the RAM is set at 2 GB.

Samsung's Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7 flaunts impressive 5.2-inch and 5.7-inch screens in style. As far as prices are concerned, it starts at $330 for the Galaxy C5 and $396 for the Galaxy C7, which is nearly half the price of the iPhone 6S starting price.

Do you think with these similarities with Samsung's Galaxy C5, C7 and iPhone 6 and 6S, smartphone users would prefer going for the comparatively cheaper Samsung smartphones? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
