Facebook workers randomly contained news stories of interest from conservative readers from the social network's leading trending news section, as reported by a previous journalist who was part of the team that worked on the project.

This previous journalist said that Facebook employees prevented the viral stories from appearing in the news feed in Facebook. This journalist prevented the viral stories from appearing in users' news feed even though the stories proved to be eligible to appear in the viral news section of Facebook, according to Gizmodo.com.

The former Facebook "news curators" were also known as the former employees of Facebook revealed to Gizmodo that they were told to insert news stories into Facebook news feed of some users even if the stories were not qualified enough to be in the news feed. Not being qualified means that the stories being viral in the news feed don't get enough views online to make it to the news feed of Facebook.

These curators were considered as some kind of hackers of the social media site. They were the ones who the management of Facebook were looking out for to stir away from the users of the popular social media site.

The ex-curator of the viral news feed in Facebook revealed how the news in Facebook were curated:

"I'd come on shift and I'd discover that CPAC or Mitt Romney or Glenn Beck or popular conservative topics wouldn't be trending because either the curator didn't recognize the news topic or it was like they had a bias against Ted Cruz."

Facebook's news curators play with the news feed to put in ineligible news in there to destroy the public's perception of the corporate settings out in the real world. There have been corporate news that have been purposely deleted in Facebook's news feed only to blind the readers of what's real in the business industries out there, according to The Guardian.
