The "Jungle Book" is still at no.1 box office on the second weekend. The Disney remake has earned more than $60 million so far, and still counting.

The animated classic movie beats "The Huntsman: Winter's War" by getting revenues of $191.5 million in only 10 days. Jon Favreau on the director seat received roars of praise from the film critics as many review sites give above-average ratings for his movie. The Rotten Tomatoes rated 94% for this CGI-driven adventure.

Newcomer, Neel Sethi portrayed Mowgli, an orphaned living in the wild with Baloo the Bear which is voiced by Bill Murray. Other voice casts include Idris Elba, Scarleet Johansson and Christopher Walken.

The USA Today marked the Jungle Book as the fourth-highest earning movie this year. The Disney remake follows the successful path of animated "Zootopia." In total, both movies generated $528.5 million of revenues.

Unlike Mowgli and his peers, the evils from Huntsman apparently do not get the fans interest as the adventure recorded a decline earning. The installment only managed to get $20.1 million. This record is below the Snow White & The Huntsman earning of $56.2 million on its debut. Actress Kristen Stewart also did not make any appearance on the sequel despite many other casts famous names including Chris Hemsworth, Charlize Theron, Jessica Chastain and Emily Blunt. The Chicoer reported that Stewart's absence could affect the franchise. Since this story is about Snow White but the fact that Snow White does not show up would mean a bizarre situation. The hybrid story has also gained average reviews with only 17% of RottenTomatoes users rating it as positive.

Aside from the declining amount of earnings, the "Winter's War" is said to have a lower budget than the Snow White's. Media analyst Dergarabedian said that people should consider the low budget and how the movie comes out, with its $80.2 million of international earnings.
