After years and years of hectic studies, thousands of articles written in researches, in the end, you land up to this final stage of getting your doctorate degree Ph.D. 

The research comes as one last daunting task to be accomplished by students and the students are required to give their one hundred percent into this task because of the research providing you with your doctorate degree.

A thesis is a document of extensive research done by a student during the time he is pursuing the degree. Hundreds of research papers are referred to and conclusions are drawn based on them. Finding the right path for thesis writing help is tough work today.

Therefore, the supervisor who is reading the synopsis can ensure whether you are on the right track to complete your thesis or not. A good synopsis contains the following things:

  1. Title of the topic: Now you cannot get on to giving a synopsis without mentioning the title of your study. The title is the first and the foremost thing that gives the readers a hint of your studies.

  2. The abstract: You must then provide the readers with a brief explanation of your topic letting them more into your work.

  3. The background: Tell the reader why you chose that particular topic for your research and highlight to him its importance. This gives a clear picture to your reader about the writer's intention behind choosing the topic.

  4. Literature related to the topic: You must highlight the research papers you have used in your study.

  5. Facts and figures: Along with the researches you have used, you must also mention the types of facts and figures that have helped you in your study.

  6. Methodology: Whether you did fieldwork or conducted online surveys, should be clearly mentioned in your synopsis so that evidence is provided for your research.

  7. References: Don't forget to quote the references that aided your research.

Once all these headings fall into place you must make sure that no information is left out. Synopsis helps you have a direction while you connect dots between various data and compile them into your thesis. There are few other points that you must keep in mind while writing the content of your synopsis:

  • Mention the background of your study clearly in your synopsis. Explain why you took the topic, what aided your research for the topic, what contributions have you made to this research and how is it going to benefit you. All these details must be in an organized manner and you must not leave loose ends.

  • State the objectives of your research and identify what area is it going to benefit in if successful. This would facilitate the writing of a better thesis.

  • While you give research content to your thesis, it should address all possible questions related to the topic and even pose questions to the reader. One should be eager to give more thoughts to your thesis, and these points in the synopsis would help achieve the purpose.

  • Your research should be well analyzed. Link the results of the research paper with your findings, adding your own knowledge to it. The more analytical you are, the better the readers will understand.

  •  Your conclusion should contain a brief summing up of all points in your synopsis. Once you mention the points while summing up, it makes sure that the reader is not omitting any point while reading. Reiterate your main idea with utmost focus. 

Hence, keep these few points in your mind while writing a thesis. Remember that this synopsis is a tool for you to organize your thoughts in a logical manner which would later conclude your thesis.

Follow the ABC (Accuracy, Brevity, and Clarity) while writing your synopsis so that the best results are achieved and you get help in writing your thesis.
