Samsung Galaxy S8 Leaked Videos Shows Curved Design And Nearly Bezel-less Phone Face [Video]

By

It is known that Samsung will not unveil any phones during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 However, it seems someone has sprung video leaks that featured a working Samsung Galaxy S8.

Typically common with any leaks, said videos were shot at not so optimal conditions. Based on the videos, assuming it is indeed the Samsung Galaxy S8, it features a screen that almost occupies the entire face of the unit, save some tiny spot on the sides.

Both porpurted Samsung Galaxy S8 units featured in the videos, seem to have curved screens and no buttons as in previous iterations of the Galaxy line. However, as with any other leak, it is prudent to remain a skeptic with any leaks that comes out.

ZDNet reported manufacturers often change their plans and prototypes ahead of actual product launches. Additionally, the footage was shown without proof that the footage is legit. One can easily notice the absence of Samsung logos or markings to prove that the units in the video are actual Samsung Galaxy S8 products.

Nevertheless, the units do seem to work and the edge curved displays is so convincingly typical of Samsung curved edge phones to easily dismiss the footage as fake. Another factor to consider is that the units look very similar to the Samsung Galaxy S7, according to Tech Crunch.

Forbes chimed in that the phones in the video did not match the leaked diagrams of the Samsung Galaxy S8 that came out last week. However, it should be pointed out that the diagrams were also a leak. It still has no bearing to what the actual Samsung Galaxy S8 will look like once it is officially unveiled.

Samsung scheduled official unveilings of their offering for 2017 on March 29 at a dedicated Samsung Unpacked event. People are eager to see what Samsung has to offer including one or two that might feature the Snapdragon 835. Hopefully, none of Samsung's offerings this year would be as problematic causing it to have an explosive or a fiery start.
