Lenovo Vibe K5 Note Upgrade: 64GB Variant Retails For Rs 13,499 On Feb 22

Users can now store up to 15,000 songs and 70 HD movies into the all-new Lenovo Vibe K5 Note. The handset launches on Feb 22 with a higher 64GB memory capacity.

Apparently, the refreshed smartphone retails for the same price as its 32GB predecessor. Meanwhile, the older model continues to sell but gets a reasonable Rs 1,000 price cut. Is it a worthy purchase? Read on to find out.

64GB Lenovo Vibe K5 Note: Price & Availability

According to Gadgets 360, the updated Lenovo Vibe K5 Note arrives on Tuesday at exactly 11:59 p.m. It debuts exclusively on Flipkart for Rs 13,499. This is the same price offered when the 32GB K5 Note was released in August 2016.

Technically, the company did not increase the price of the 64GB Lenovo Vibe K5 Note. However, it appears to be pricier as Lenovo issued a significant rebate on the older version. The existing 32GB with 4GB RAM model is now available for Rs 12,499 only.

At this very affordable price, the Lenovo Vibe K5 Note poses a serious threat to rival companies like Xiaomi and Motorola. On the other hand, for photography enthusiasts, 17,000 images and almost eight hours of HD videos can be now be stockpiled in the latest K5 Note. The phone will come in three colors: gold, silver, and dark gray.

Lenovo Vibe K5 Note: Appearance & other features

India Today reported that the upgraded Lenovo Vibe K5 Note looks stunning in its metal body detailed with sleek curves. It packs a 64-bit eight-core 6755 processor clocked at 1.8GHz. Also, the phone boasts a 13MP PDAF rear camera complemented by an 8MP selfie cam.

Lenovo Vibe K5 Note is powered by a 3,500mAh battery. Consequently, one of the highlights of the handset is the Dolby Atmos 1.5w speaker. Well, a fingerprint scanner and a standard 3.5 headphone jack thrive in the phone as well.

The dual-SIM Lenovo Vibe K5 Note runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It is neither big nor small with 5.5" display with a 1080 x 1920 resolution. All in all, the new K5 Note seems to be a worthy buy given that it features TheaterMax Technology too. Basically, it converts basic content into an immersive VR experience.
