Gone are the days when Xbox One's interface is slow, complicated and downright ugly because the gaming console's new update has included a "Jump" section that functions like the Quick Menu of PS4. Will this also be present in the upcoming Xbox One Scorpio that is heading towards a blockbuster release? See full details here!

New Xbox One Update Brings Convenience to Dashboard

The Xbox One user interface that is Windows-based has been criticized as terribly outdated compared to what PS4 has to offer with its usability and eye convenience interface. However, this has to change because Microsoft has reportedly rolled out its newest update to Xbox One that improves the gaming console's interface.

The head of platform engineering of Xbox Mike Yibara has released a teaser of the game "The Wolf Among Us" showcasing some of the newest features of the console integrated in the UI update. Yibara told The Sun about the newly enhanced Guide (akin to PS4's Quick Menu) as an overlay at the side of the screen regardless what the use is doing and this can be accessed through pressing the button in the controller.

Furthermore, the "Jump" section which can be found in the Guide is said to be the key towards achieving speed for multitasking and ease of access. Shortcuts to various features such as home screen, Xbox store, apps and games including the recently accessed ones can be found in the Jump section.

Xbox One Scorpio Will Not Be Launched with Halo and Gears of War Sequels

Xbox One management has recently announced that the upcoming console will be launched with a different game lineup, in contradict to the rumored Halo and Gears of War sequels. Aside from the cancellation of Scalebound, Microsoft has clarified that Xbox One Scorpio will not come with FPS or Gears or any new IP which stirs the curiosity of the fans, Express reported.

On the other hand, Microsoft has also ruled out the claim that Xbox One Scorpio is a gaming PC made to look like a console. Xbox boss Phil Spencer clarified that Scorpio is in every inch a console but a powerful one that boasts 6 teraflops of GPU, supports virtual reality and 4K gaming.
