Nintendo Switch has everything fans love about the past Nintendo games and more. At a starting price of $299, fans of the old Nintendo will find Switch worth the buck.

Nintendo Switch is portable, functional, and adaptable

Nintendo Switch, which will be released in March 3, has a number of pros, including its portability, functionality, versatility, and adaptability, The Street reported. The console can be connected to a TV and other devices, players can play with up to eight of their friends online, software can be downloaded anywhere in the world, battery can be charged while playing, and battery life goes up to 6.5 hours.

Nintendo's entertainment planning & development division general manager and director Shinya Takahashi said Nintendo Switch has all the elements in a Nintendo console. It has two controllers like the 1983 Family Computer, the portability of a 1989 Gameboy, the analog stick featured in the 1996 Nintendo 64, and the motioncontrol of the 2006 Wii.

Nintendo Switch Starts at $299

Nintendo Switch is expected to be $299 with an option that has two black joystick controllers or a blue neon joystick controller set, Gamepros reported. Players can choose to buy extra controllers with the Pro controllers at $69.99, the Joy-Con controllers at $79.99, individual components at $49.99, charging grips at $29.99, and the dock will be at $89.99. These add ons may be too pricey for most players.

Nintendo Switch will soon be a paid online service in the third quarter of 2017, with a free trial starting on March. After signing into their Nintendo account, players can play online or in a local co-op mode. Subscribers will get free games every month.

The Switch will sport a 720 display for portable hand held play. Meanwhile, it will have a 1080p display when connected to a TV. It will run on Nvidia Tegra chip, a 32GB worth of storage, and it can be expanded with microSD with up to 256 GB.
