Huawei P8 Lite 2017 is the latest Android smartphone by the Chinese tech giant, and the smartphone is coming soon in a few European markets. The Huawei P8 Lite 2017 model is strangely named as a successor to the two-year-old P8 Lite smartphone even though the latest handset also improves on the P9 Lite.

The new Huawei P8 Lite 2017 uses a different design compared to the original model, and the device appears to share only the name and branding, as under the skin, the new Huawei Android smartphone uses rather different and improved components. The screen of the Huawei P8 Lite 2017 has been improved from a 720p resolution 5.0-inch panel to a 1080p, 5.2-inch panel

The new Huawei P8 Lite 2017 Android smartphone comes along with a 5.2-inch IPS display of 1080p resolution and the smartphone is packed with a nice looking glossy shell. The design of Huawei P8 Lite 2017 is unlike anything in the P8 and P9 series, according to Computer Bild.

The Huawei P8 Lite 2017 Android smartphone is powered by the tech giant's latest mid-range Kirin 655 chip, along with an octa-core A53 processor and Mali-T830MP2 GPU. Huawei's latest smartphone also has a 3GB of RAM on board, as well as a 16GB expandable storage.

The Huawei P8 Lite 2017 smartphone brings a new 12MP rear camera with a f/2.0 aperture, and an 8MP front snapper. The battery of the Huawei P8 Lite 2017 smartphone is a non-removable 3,000 mAh unit, same as on the P9 Lite smartphone.

Nevertheless, the Huawei P8 Lite 2017 smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. The handset will launch in various EU markets by the end of January with a price tag of €239 or $253. In addition, the Chinese tech company is said to launch the Huawei P8 Lite 2017 in Latin America, Mobile Geeks reported.
