The Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe Android smartphone is getting a quick update. Although it's not an Android Nougat update, but the update does bring some key changes that Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe owners will be glad to have, such as improved stability of touch performance.

As for other changes, the Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe update adds Pure mode in Audio Wizard when the earphone is connected, and NFC function user tutorial. As is usually the case with over-the-air programming (OTA), it may take some time for the update to reach a person's device. Meanwhile, if an Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe user feels impatient, the user can manually check for the update by heading to Setting, About, then System Update, according to Asus.

On the other hand, the Taiwanese tech giant has reportedly started rolling out the Android 7.0 Nougat update for its Zenfone 3 Android smartphones. The Android 7.0 Nougat update has been rolled out to two versions of the Zenfone 3, the ZE520KL and ZE552KL.

The Android 7.0 Nougat update is currently available for Zenfone 3 owners in the Philippines only. In due time, the global roll out of the Android 7.0 Nougat update should take place.

Nevertheless, the Android 7.0 Nougat update for the Asus Zenfone 3 handsets will add features like the Multi-window support, a feature to support launching two apps at the same time. One can resize the app windows and further maximize or even minimize either of the active apps, Tech Updates reported.

The Multi-window support feature also allows images and moving text between the two apps in use. The Android 7.0 Nougat would also bring the Doze battery feature in the Asus Zenfone 3 smartphones. The Doze battery feature had launched with Android Marshmallow, but the revamped feature on Android Nougat comes along with an increased optimization for Android services.
