"Fullmetal Alchemist" has released a poster revealing the two familiar characters. Meanwhile Roy Mustang's famous uniform was recently unveiled.

New Year Poster

Warner Bros from its official site released a poster showing the famous Elric brother Edward and Alphonse. The image of the pair was taken from a distance as they stand inside a train station. The blond haired Edward is played by Yamasada Ryosuke while the armored giant beside him is Alphonse.

 The original "Fullmetal Alchemist" is an anime series that was originally shown in Japan. It later made its way to the West through various means such as online streaming. The movie version features live actors with plenty of CGI thrown in. This upcoming anime film is currently generating intense interest among in various social media outlets.

"Fullmetal Alchemist" tells the story of two brothers desperate to bring their mother back to life. Their alchemy experiment failed and they had to pay the price for their failure. Edward's arm and leg were transformed into metal. Unfortunately, his younger brother Alphonse paid the heaviest since his whole body turned into a big metal armor. The brothers now turned their attention on how to get their bodies back. In the process, they get to meet a powerful enemy and some new friends.

Roy Mustang Costume Unveiled

Meanwhile Roy Mustang's uniform was unveiled during the December Tokyo Comic Con event. In the "Fullmetal Alchemist" film, the fiery Colonel is played by Fujioka Dean. Fans of the Anime series would also be thrilled if Edward's costume or Alphonse's metal body is unveiled in the coming days ahead.

Release Date and Fall Exhibition

The movie is set for viewing on December 2017 and an exhibition is scheduled this fall. Not much information though has been revealed yet. Interested viewers can see it in YouTube. The trailer is in Japanese but an English version was reportedly released.
