After the finale of season two of BBC's period drama Poldark, season three is well under way and it seems like there is yet to be more drama ahead, Express reported. The 30-second preview of the season three has left many viewers wonder what may possibly happen in the next series.

In the clip, Elizabeth played by Heida Reed was seen to be heavily pregnant and that there is a strong suspicion that Ross Poldark, played by Aidan Turner, could be the father of the baby.

According to The Week, George Warleggan would think that he'd won the game when he married his rival's former love interest, but it wouldn't be that much of a victory when the child that Elizabeth is carrying is a Poldark.

Moreover, season three got its viewers questioning whether Ross will remain true to Demelza. After his infidelity with Elizabeth, Demelza threatened Ross about leaving, on which Ross admitted that his "idiocy has been spectacular."

Questions spur on whether what will happen when Ross discovers that Elizabeth might be carrying his child, and how will Demelza react upon hearing such news. Ross seems to care less of what could happen as he gave out his opinion on the upcoming marriage of Elizabeth and his cousin George, Post reported.

More Poldark related news, questions sprung about what will happen to Caroline and Doctor Dwight. The good doctor enlisted himself to join the navy and was due to set sail into war. Many are asking questions on whether Dwight will return unscathed and alive to his beloved Caroline, or will war put their relationship to an end.

Meanwhile, Poldark will be adding new set of characters for season three. Among those who confirmed for "Poldark" Season 3 is Josh Whitehouse, who will be playing the character of Hugh Armitage.

Also, the next season of Poldark introduces a new vicar, Osborne Whitworth in which Christian Brassington, who played as Boris Johnson in When Boris Met Dave, will take on the role. Adding more drama to next season will be Demelza's two brothers Drake and Sam, who will be played by Harry Richardson and Tom York respectively.

Drake's character is set to strike up a romance with Elizabeth's cousin, Morwenna, while Sam will also be having a romance scene with another new face, Emma Tregirls which is played by Ciara Charteris who starred in BBC's mini-series "Close to the Enemy." Emma Tregirls character is portrayed to be a gypsy who falls in love with street preacher Sam.

Also joining the Poldark cast is Tholly Tregirls who is played by Shameless star Sean Gilder. Tholly Tregirls is described to be as a reckless womanizer and a former friend of Ross' father.

"Poldark" Season 3 will be hitting the airwaves next year.
