Old smartphone models such as OnePlus X and Samsung Galaxy Note 3 have reportedly received the Android 7.1 Nougat update via CyanogenMod 14.1 custom ROM. Check out the feature enhancements of the latest mobile operating system. Is it worth the upgrade?

Android 7.1 Nougat to Samsung Galaxy Note 3

Users of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 may now have the chance to experience Nougat on their respective handsets as Android 7.1.1 Nougat update has been rolled out to the mention Samsung device via CyanogenMod 14.1 custom ROM. According to XDA Developers Forum, users will have to make sure that they've installed the TWRP or CWM recovery before proceeding to the installation process since this is not an official released made by the South Korean tech firm.

It has been previously announced that OnePlus X will not be able eligible to get the latest Android Nougat update thus, turning off hopes from the users.
