The console itself is smaller, lighter and more power efficient and the 500GB model is priced at a similar level to the current 500 GB PS4. The source added that it is practical way of purchasing a refined tech with the same price as the older model.

The new PS4 Slim deals range from $279.99 to $499.99 in sites like Amazon, Newegg, GameStop and Game Seek. Business Insider, reported that prices for PS4 Slim lowered down to $249 offering it to lucky buyers and giving a 51% slash discount from its original price.

The report added that the deal applies to a good bundle which includes a 500gb PlayStation 4 Slim and the blockbuster game Uncharted 4. However, no discount for the powerful PS4 Pro as of the moment is seen.

It is worth noting that PlayStation 4 Slim is a revamp of Sony's original PlayStation 4, it basically plays all the same game and vary only in size. The source emphasized that even though it is not as powerful as PS Pro, it is still a must-have especially that it marks up the best deals for gamers this holiday season.

However, Business Insider suggested that should players want to future proof themselves then PS Pro is the console to grab. The sale of PS4 Slim will only last until Dec. 24 and gamers are urged to buy now while stocks are still there and save the feeling of regret of not grabbing it sooner.

Meanwhile, online stores are also grabbing gamers' attention to PS4 cheap deals, which range from $249 to$421.95 and £239.99 to £264 in both Amazon and Zavvi stores.
