By

The Divas revolution continued in the year 2016 with plenty of women wrestlers stepping up their game to be called the best women's wrestler. However, nobody made the biggest impact than Charlotte Flair who recently became a four-time Raw Women's champion. Other superstars worth mentioning are Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks and Alexa Bliss.

Charlotte Flair broke all records when became a four-time WWE Raw Women's Champion at WWE TLC in a grueling Ironman match, defeating former champion Sasha Banks according to Wrestling Inc. She is also undefeated in all of her pay-per-view matches whether it is a singles match or a tag team elimination match where she led Team Raw to victory against Team Smackdown at Survivor Series. Her Dad Hall of Famer Ric Flair even added Charlotte can do all the things the top male wrestlers can do. If that's the case, she is definitely deserving of being the 2016 best women's wrestler for the year.

There is no doubt Sasha Banks belongs in the conversation of 2016 best women's wrestler. All of Sasha Banks' reigns as WWE Raw Women's champion may be just a few weeks but she is still a three-time champion and only a few women can say that. According to Wrestlezone, she defeated Charlotte in a No DQ match at WWE Raw for her third title reign.

Before the year ended, Alexa Bliss captured the WWE Smackdown Women's Title from Becky Lynch in a moment that brought her to tears. Both women deserve to be in the 2016 best women's wrestler talk as they were in the title picture of the WWE Smackdown women's division. Both of them also delivered outstanding matches against each other even if one of them had Becky Lynch wearing a mask.
