Close

The year 2016 was the year that game developers tried to outdo one another and gamers were on the receiving end of good results. It is time to take a look at the games that made gamers all over the world happy. The top 5 PS4 games include Overwatch, Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration, Ratchet & Clank, The Last Guardian and NBA 2K17.

Overwatch, according to Metacritic, continues to feel fresh despite the number of times you play it despite its few available modes. It is a game that is ideal to play groups as it will be boring when it is played in one player mode. One of the top 5 PS4 games is a team-based shooter game set on earth in the very near future where every battle is a rigorous multiplayer showdown featuring a diverse group of characters pitted against each other.

NBA 2K17 appears to be the best in the franchise as it is a huge improvement over NBA 2K16 so it deserves a recognition as top 5 PS4 games. They made an exceptional improvement in myCareer mode as it gives players the feeling of being in the NBA world.

The Last Guardian, according to Mirror, is a game that is 10 years in the making but it was worth the wait so it deserves to be included in the top 5 PS4 games of 2016. Trico does not give much clues as to what gamers would have to do next which makes the game quite challenging.

Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration is the ultimate package especially when it is your first time playing a Tomb Raider game. Ratchet & Clank manages to become a fun and impressive platformer-shooter game. Both games are certainly included in the top 5 PS4 games of 2016.
