By

Not a few were disappointed when the Apple's new MacBook Pro came out. Swipes at Apple came mostly from industry professionals who rely on a macOS machine. For this reason, many are migrating to other laptops using other platforms other than macOS, one of these is Microsoft's Surface Book running on Windows 10.

Both high-end MacBook Pro and Surface Book go for more than $2,000. The MacBook Pro, still reveal it has an edge over the Surface Pro. However, Windows 10 offers much more flexibility as Microsoft made changes to its OS that offers ease of use in a touch environment easily as working with a mouse and keyboard, Forbes reported.

One more factor to consider is that Windows 10 offer a wider range of third-party applications that would suit one's need. More so, having Apple as well as Android devices "communicate" with a Surface Book is as easy as using an external device or a cloud service.

Not only can it can it function well in its keyboard base, but it can be detached turning the unit into a tablet that offers more flexibility. Additionally, the new Surface Dial work well with the Surface Book, the Dial is a plus for designers, video editors, and CAD designers.
