It's been reported before that Warner Bros. and DC Films' "The Flash" movie will be different from the "The Flash" TV series on The CW. In a recent interview, actor Ezra Miller explains what the Speed Force means to his version of The Flash.

Miller first debuted as The Flash in "Batman v. Superman." He appeared in Bruce Wayne's nightmare where he warns him about Superman, saying "he was right about him." In another scene, Wonder Woman receives metahuman files sent by Bruce after which she opens a security footage showing Barry Allen stopping a robbery.

The 24-year-old actor, who also stars in "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," has a more personal take on Barry's Speed Force.

"Martha Graham, one of my biggest inspirations, said in a quote, 'There is a vitality, a life force, a quickening.' To me, the idea of a quickening, the idea that the whole universe as we know it is essentially this composition of things moving at different speeds is an interesting idea," Miller says, as quoted by comicbook.com. He describes the Speed Force as a "dimensional reality that is manipulating others, almost like a gravitational wave that will manipulate others."

Miller adds that what's interesting is seeing Barry as a human being coming into contact and merging with the force, and what that's like for him as a human being.

Meanwhile, Rick Famuyiwa, the second director to take on "The Flash" movie, has exited the movie project due to creative differences, The Hollywood Report reported. It is said that Famuyiwa's "vision of making a movie with more edge clashed with the studio's take" on the film.

There's no update yet as to who the new director will be, but production for "The Flash" movie is expected to be delayed.

"These are groups of people taking the development of projects extremely seriously, and the teams are changing all the time. There's often a lot of flux in who the team of the production of a film is before that production starts," Miller comments on Famuyiwa's exit.

"The Flash" standalone movie is set to premiere on March 16, 2018. Miller currently stars as Credence in "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them."
