OnePlus Pixel to Rock Android 7.1 Nougat, 6GB RAM, More; OnePlus 3 Recieves Nougat Update [VIDEO]
The powerful OnePlus Pixel spotted on Geekbench with impressive score. The tech specs are different from OnePlus 3T which is rumored to be released this week.
OnePlus Pixel technical specifications leaked
OnePlus Pixel will run the latest Android OS, Android 71. Nougat. Based on the leaked specifications, OnePlus Pixel will sport Snapdragon 820 under its hood, coupled with spacious 6 GB of RAM. The Geekbench score shows 2326 for single-core and 5475 for multi-core result.
Previously, an image of what's believed to be OnePlus 3T has surfaced ahead of launch. According to GSM Arena, it rocks IMX 398 sensor from Sony for the camera.
Judging from the specs, the Pixel has a lower set of hardware performance than OnePlus 3T with Snapdragon 821 and huge battery capacity of 3,300 mAh. This new benchmark leak does not corroborate the previous rumor that the OnePlus Pixel could be OnePlus 3T.
Adding another confusion, a recent leak suggests OnePlus 4 in the making. It is rumored to sport similar specs to Samsung Galaxy S8. Find out here.

Speculation hints at two storage variants, 64 GB and 128 GB with possible pricepoint at $479.
There is no official word from the company but the imminent launch should be able to tell whether or not, OnePlus 3 users should upgrade their device.
OnePlus 3 Android 7.0 Nougat update
Meanwhile, OnePlus has announced that the OnePlus 3 will receive Nougat update. Unlike other brands that tend to be late in rolling out the latest OS to their devices - OnePlus has a good track record in updating the firmware on its smartphones.
OnePlus 3 will get Android 7.0 Nougat update by the end of year. For older devices such as OnePlus 2, the Chinese phone company promises an update at a later date.
