Mortal Kombat X: Released Date & Cause Of Delay Revealed, Mortal Kombat X Pack 3 Not Coming Out Next Year?

By

It's no doubt, "Mortal Kombat X" has been a huge success for the game developer NetherRealm and until now, it continues its strong grip in the gaming world. All thanks to the nostalgic value the Chicago-based game developer has given to the game's players. Now, gamers have more reason to continue their nostalgia after the game developer announces that "Mortal Kombat X" will have a third expansion pack.

Unfortunately, the wait for the upcoming expansion pack is getting longer and longer. To make matters worse, the game developer management has even unconfirmed the Pack 3 developments. Instead, NetherRealm Studios has diverted its focus to "Injustice 2," which leaves Mortal Kombat in the dark.

As this time, there's still no confirmation when Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack 3 will be released. NetherRealm is currently focusing more on the development of the Injustice sequel, placing more of its resources, including its entire workforce in that project.

According to the Christian Times, the much-awaited "Mortal Kombat X Pack 3" will be released sometime in 2018. This could be possible because the game developer has released a statement, indicating that they will only start the development after the release of Injustice 2.

The American game developer said it will release the sequel "Injustice 2" in the first quarter of 2017. But it will maintain a gap between the release of the Injustice sequel and the third pack for the Mortal Kombat X. It is because the developer wants to ensure that the Injustice sequel reaches the big crowd and gathers as much sales possible.

Released in April 2015, "Mortal Kombat X" is a fighting video game developed by Chicago-based NetherRealm Studios. The game is the tenth main installment in the Mortal Kombat video game series. The game was first released on April 14, 2015, for PC, PS4, and Xbox One consoles. That's quickly followed by a mobile version for iOS and Android devices. The game, which has several story modes, focuses around two players fight against each other using a variety of attacks, including special moves, and the Mortal Kombat's trademark finishing moves.

In other news, rumors are spreading on the web that NetherRealm Studios will be adding a few characters in the bloody Mortal Kombat X, which include Fujin, Noob Salibot, Rain, Baraka, and, Sindel.
