Funimation and Toei Animation confirmed the news and announced that the "Dragon Ball Super" English dub is currently in production.

Funimation Entertainment, the company responsible for dubbing the whole franchise turned to their blog stating, "broadcast and casting details to follow."

The home video distribution of the Dragon Ball Super in the United States and Canada, it will also be handled by Funimation.

Furthermore, in a report by Forbes, Gen Fukunaga, CEO and founder of Funimation expressed his excitement.

"We are thrilled to continue our great partnership with Toei Animation," Fukunaga said. "Like the recent blockbuster 'Dragon Ball Z' movies, having original creator Akira Toriyama passionately involved in Dragon Ball Super is so wonderful to see and for fans to experience".

The entire Dragon Ball series will be subtitled, and this will be before the release of the English dub. The regular simulcast on Saturday at 8:30 CT will begin with episode 65 while the episodes 1 -10 and 47 - 64 will be shown on FunimationNow. The subbed 11-46 episodes will be uploaded will be uploaded to the streaming platform of the website.

In June of 2015, Japan had begun airing "Dragon Ball Super". The Japanese subtitled episodes are already available on their own streaming service, the company added.

As for the casting, many fans are hoping for the return of the original voice actors of the Dragon Ball Z but the company still has no words on specific casting decisions. On the other hand, the actor who voices Vegeta and other characters, Christopher Sabat turned to Twitter and his profile says, "Super Dub = Confirmed", Comic Book reported. Does this mean Sabat is to return to the recording booth?  Fans are hoping.
