Doctor Strange will face Kaecilius as the main villain in the upcoming movie. However, it seem he may also have deal with a few more villains like Dormammu and Shuma-Gorath.

Doctor Strange Versus Dormammu

The Doctor Strange promo video trailer introduced Kaecilius (Mads Mikkelson) as the main villain in the upcoming movie. However there are rumors that another villain will be introduced. Dormammu is considerably more powerful than Kaecilius.

Cinemablend reports that Marvel Studio's recent IMAX preview of Doctor Strange revealed some interesting details. One of the short scenes seemed to indicate that Doctor Strange facing one of his most deadly enemies, Dormammu.

Viewers were able to catch a brief glimpse of its giant head. But it was almost identical to the Dormammu, a Marvel character first drawn in the 60s. However Doctor Strange movie director Scott Derrickson would not confirm what many have suspected.

Dormammu is one of Doctor Strange's dangerous enemies and first appeared in the Marvel comic books. He is the ruler of a place simply called the Dark Dimension.

Doctor Strange Versus Shuma-Gorath

Another villain that may make its appearance in the upcoming Doctor Strange movie is Shuma-Gorath, according to Movie Pilot. There is no overt announcement of his appearance in the movie. Instead the source of this speculation comes from the Lego Company.

LEGO has recently released a playset a blocky scale model of Doctor's Strange's New York City home. There were also three characters in that house namely Doctor Strange, Wong and Baron Mordo. The New York place and the three characters all together in one place remind hardcore fans of Shuma-Gorath.

In the comic books, the only time that the three characters meet is when they were confronted by this ancient and powerful entity. Shuma-Gorath once ruled the world of men but was successfully driven out. But this evil one has not given up of returning once again.
