Make your iOS 10 iPhone Better; Latest iMessage Update; Having A Positive Effect On App Downloads [VIDEO]

Apple's new software for the iPhone and iPads, iOS 10, includes an exhaustive list of features, such as the upgrades to the Siri voice assistant, maps, photos and the ton of new ways to interact with friends through the Messages app.

Any iPhone 5 and newer versions will run Apple's iOS 10, as well as the most recent iPads, but not for iPhone 4 and 4S. Features of iOS 10 that use 3D Touch for pressure sensitivity will only work on the iPhone 6S, 6S Plus, also with the new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, according to CNET.

Some of the additions to iOS 10 are admittedly more interesting than others. The ways iOS 10 will make the iPhone better are its incredibly interactive messages, lock screen becomes more of a hub, voice-command Siri to do stuff in a person's favorite app, buy stuff from Mac but pay from iPhone, new keyboard tricks spare the user's tired-typing hands, control user's smart home from any screen, as well as pasting iPhone URLs on Mac.

Also, iOS 10 update to Apple's devices can find photos more easily, better mapping for a person's phone and car, music app redesign that lets users rock and rap along with lyrics, automatic photo albums and videos, more ways to contact friends from the address book, iPhone users can read subscription magazines in the News app, and a person can delete unwanted Apple apps.

However, App publishers that allowed iMessage support, following iOS 10 update, are already witnessing an increase in downloads, according to SensorTower.

The Cupertino based tech company launched the iMessage App Store during its September event. The new update allows smartphone users to launch enabled apps from within the native text feature, for the most part, turning it into an app platform. With the update to iMessage, the tech giant is positioning itself more in line with the boosting chat app market, based on the report of Business Insider.
