The sequel of the fmaous "Metal Gear" game series, the "Metal Gear Survive", will be showcased in Konami's booth during the Tokyo Game Show on September 17, 2016. The gameplay was said to follow the same gameplay with the previous game, "Metal Gear Solid V". Konami will air a live stream for the Game Show.

Konami made an announcement for the upcoming Tokyo Game Show and it includes the premiere of "Metal Gear Survive" which was revealed last month. The company will host a stage event for the first look on the game. The event will start at 16:15 and will be broadcasted live on Nico nico and YouTube.

"Metal Gear Survive" is a 4-player co-op video game which is familiar to the "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain". It is a continuation of the series and is an alternative timeline which is caused by massive wormholes in the sky, which by the way, was not explained. The players would find the characters in the middle of some distorted terrain filled with biologically distorted creatures. The players would need to work together in order to survive in the harsh environment. Additionally, new combat weapons will be introduced alongside the new environment and lethal creatures, Gematsu reported.

The trailer of the game basically shows the description and overview of the upcoming game. The soldiers of the once strong military who are assigned in the Mother Base was sucked into an alternate universe. There are also crude weapons shown such as  a pipe tipped with a knife. Also, new weapons features a bow and arrow which has a spinning arrowhead.

Meanwhile, fans are disappointed with the upcoming "Metal Gear Survive" as it has many unexplained events. Also, many fans believe that Konami strayed away from the original trademark of "Metal Gear".

The premiere onTokyo Game Show can be watched using this link to Konami's YouTube Channel. "Metal Gear Survive" would be available on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
