Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Unveils Sept. 24, NOT Sept. 14; Premium, Mid-Range Versions With 6 GB, 4GB RAM Respectively

Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is slated for a Sept. 24 release date, contrary to the previously released leak. The new leak actually came as a teaser image with a written 9.24 on it. This lead followers to believe that the devices are going to be deployed this coming Sept. 24.

Previous Xiaomi Mi Note 2 reports revealed that the device's release date is going to be made official as early as next week. A couple of leaks have even emerged recently which include a Sept. 14 release date of the device. This hints that the device will actually launch next week, but a new report states otherwise, NDTV reported.

Leaks of the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 revealed the device's key specs including its processors, screen display and camera. The latest leaks indicated that Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will come in two models which will both sport a 5.5-inch OLED screen. The premium version is expected to be powered by the latest Qualcomm 821 processors along with 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage capacity.

The lower-end model of Xiaomi Mi Note 2, on the other hand, is suggested to sport a Snapdragon 820 processor along with a 4GB RAM and 32GB storage space. Moreover, the two models are believed to feature the same 3D curved glass screen with dual cameras at the rear, GSM Arena reported.

There are no specific details revealed about the front camera and the battery capacity of both Xiaomi Mi Note 2 devices. But, a new feature has been highlighted which suggest that the devices will carry support for fingerprint scanning.

Xiaomi Mi Note 2 may be unveiled either on Sept. 14 or Sept. 24. What's important is the devices are coming out soon. However, some followers believe that While Xiaomi a Sept. 24 unveiling looks more likely as it came from an official looking teaser image.
