Looks like a bad news for ardent "Tekken" fans as game producer Katsuhiro Harada hinted that Jun Kazama might never come back to "Tekken 7."

Harada made the shocking revelation in his reply to a fan's tweet inquiring if Jun Kazama will ever make an appearance in Bandai Namco's hit fighting video game. In his reply Harada noted that he and the developer team failed to get a response from fans during his stretch in "Tekken Tag Tourament 2".

However, rumors are running rampant that Bandai Namco could bring back Jun Kazama from the original "Tekken" storyline in "Tekken 7" as Harada made clear that Jun was not actually killed by Ogre during the events of "Tekken 3", but citing the tweet from Harada, the chances of Jun returning in the main roster seems extremely thin.

That being said, if bombarded by the title's huge fanbase, Bandai Namco will have Jun Kazama added as future DLC, provided enough fans demand her to be in the game.

Harada is already in talks with the team to introduce Lei Wulong in "Tekken," which implies there is little chance that Jun could join the roster anytime soon, according to Attack of the Fanboy.

"Tekken 7" will boast a slew of returning characters including Bob, Nina Williams, Alisa, Lars, Leo, Dragunov, Feng Wei, Bryan Fury, Yoshimitsu, King, Paul Phoenix, Marshall Law, Xiaoyu, Lili, Asuka, Steve Fox, Hwoarang, Heihachi, Kazuya and Jin. Several new faces including Kazumi Mishima, Master Raven Akuma, Shaheen, Gigas, Jack-7, Josie Rizal, Lucky Chloe, Katarina Alves and Claudio Serafino are also expected to debut in the sequel.

In other news, Bandai Namco plans to enhance the gameplay features within Tekken 7's" story mode as Mark Religioso, Bandai Namco America Brand Manager told DualShockers that he is planning a fully augmented single player experience that will make "Tekken 7's" storyline more appealing to the game's zealous fanbase.

Religioso also opened-up about an array of new features that is slated to integrate something special to the story mode, from its in-game cinematic to its actual gameplay with a horde of character dialogues in it to give gamers an impression that they are a part of the story too.

"Tekken 7" is slated to hit the store shelves early next year for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
