'The Simpsons' Mocked Trump While endorsing Hillary Clinton [VIDEO]

The famous animated cartoon series, "The Simpsons", made a standalone video clip showing Marge and Homer Simpson agreeing to vote for Hillary Clinton in the forthcoming election in the United States. The video also mocked Donald Trump.

A standalone video was posted on YouTube on 30 July entitled "3 a.m.| The SIMPSONS". The video was released by 20th Century Fox to answer a question asking how the would-be President would react to a distress call. This was in reference to Hillary's 2008 political campaign ad that features a ringing phone at 3 a.m. The ad was asking Americans who they would want to lead the country in times of crisis, BBC reported.

The writers of "The Simpsons" have never shied away from dealing with political issues. However, getting involved in a presidential race is less common for the series. While Hillary Clinton got out of the issue pretty easily, Trump was roasted by the show's mockery, according to WIRED.

The video began with Marge saying she cannot make love until she comes into a decision of who to vote for president. Then the narrator proceeded with a question asking the audience: "It's 3am and the phone is ringing in the White House - who do you want to answer that call?"

The video initially showed Bill Clinton answering the phone then drops face when he realized it was for Hillary. She then responded by saying that the calls are for her from now on.

Donald Trump, on the other hand, responded by ignoring the call and said "Not now, I'm on Twitter." Then the scene showed him ordering an aide to put his name on the Lincoln memorial, disband the NATO, and make him some scrambled eggs on a gold plate. The Republican candidate can also be seen with a copy of a book titled "Great Speeches by A. Hitler".

At the end of the video, Homer signals that he might vote for Donald Trump but Marge said that she would question whether she can ever be with Homer again if that is his vote. Then Homer said, "And that's how I became a Democrat."

Clearly, this was "The Simpsons" endorsing Hillary Clinton to be the next president of the United States.
