Burger King's latest innovation is making fast food faster and more convenient, but it still awaits mass production.
In celebration of Burger King's 50th anniversary in Puerto Rico, the company alerted the 50 members of their loyalty program with a surprise gift. A product called the "Hands-Free Whopper," was distributed to the 50 members with the highest point totals.
So far, these are the only Hands-Free Whoppers in existence, but a video has gone viral in the U.S seemingly to spike Americans' interest in the device and to create a demand large enough to distribute the product.

The device hangs around the neck and sits in front of a person's mouth like a hands-free harmonica holder. The plastic burger holder does have one design flaw that would make it difficult for consumers to finish the burger.
The part of the Whopper holder that holds the burger in place exposes about two-thirds of the burger with the other third being in the plastic pouch. It would be possible to shift the unfinished part of the burger, but that would defeat the purpose of it being hands-free.
Still, the video has sparked the interest of Twitter users worldwide, provoking excitement, sarcasm and downright disgust.
"You can't make this up! Where can I get my hands on one. Hands-free Whopper Holder Unveiled," one user Tweeted.
"2013 and there still isn't a solution to applying sunscreen to one's own back. But we can invent a hands free Whopper holder. ALRIGHT THEN," another Twitter user stated.
"Burger King took being fat and lazy to a whole nother level with their hands free Whopper holder," tweeted another user.
This is not the first time Burger King has put an offbeat product on the market. In 2008, they released a limited-edition men's body spray called "Flame," meant to smell like the fast food joint's signature burger.
