After Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi Redmi Pro smartphone last year, the device had accomplished remarkable milestones and had gained a wide reputation and success. In persevering this grand success, the Chinese tech company is consistently working on a newer and improved device. The spec sheet of the company's upcoming smartphone, the Redmi Pro 2, has surfaced online and indicated some significant hardware improvements.

It may be recalled that last year's Redmi Pro smartphone was the company's first phone to come with an OLED display. The Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2, on the other hand, will sport a Full HD LCD display, which is manufactured by TCL, Gizmo China reported.

The Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 leak also manifests that the device will come along with a dual rear camera setup, which is a combination of Sony's 12MP IMX362 primary sensor as well as Samsung's 5MP S5K3P8 secondary sensor. The upcoming device will also feature a Samsung 16MP S5K3P8 front snapper for selfies and video chat.

Other goodies of the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 smartphone include a Gyroscope, Accelerometer, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. However, the new leak did not pitch in the processor of Xiaomi's upcoming mobile device, but a recent listing on the tech giant's official website inferred the handset would be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 660 chipset, Android Headlines reported.

Furthermore, Redmi Pro 2's specs and features include a rear fingerprint scanner. Tech enthusiasts and experts can expect the upcoming mobile device to have a 3GB and 4GB models. In terms of Redmi Pro 2's design, the smartphone is expected to boast an all-metal body as well as a 2.5D curved glass display.

Unfortunately, the new leak has not pitched in the device's price and availability. As for the Redmi Pro 2 release date, the mobile device is expected to roll out in July, considering its predecessor was launched in that month last year.
