Google Pixel 2's first-ever earnest leak shows more information about Google's upcoming flagship smartphone rather than just its codename. The benchmark test for the highly anticipated Google Pixel XL 2 has mounted up on the internet and it listed several details about the upcoming mobile device. The leaked information showcased an evidence that Google's new smartphones should be just as exciting as the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Apple iPhone 8.

Google's new set of handsets is said to have common features with Apple's iPhone 8 and Samsung's Galaxy S8. Reports are claiming that these flagship smartphones have common bezel-less screen design.

The benchmark test of the Google Pixel 2 made it known that the device will have a 5.6-inch display along with a 2K resolution. The Google Pixel 2 will boast a 18:9 aspect ratio and a 2560 x 1312 display, Forbes reported.

Google's upcoming mobile device will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset, a 4GB RAM as well as a 128GB of internal storage. The Google Pixel 2 will also have a 12-MP rear snapper and a 7MP front facing shooter, both with up to 4K video recording.

As the Google Pixel 2 is packed with an Adreno 540 graphics and clocked at 2.35GHz, it should make the handset a pretty powerful performer. It is highly probable that Google's upcoming flagship smartphone will retail at a more affordable price tag compared to Apple's iPhone 8, considering the next-gen Apple handset will retail in excess of $1,000. The Google Pixel XL 2 is expected to cost $769, while the smaller model is likely to have a $650 price tag, Value Walk reported.

As of now, there are no images of Google's upcoming Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphones. Nonetheless, the American multinational tech company confirms that the devices will surely arrive in the near future as its release date is getting closer.
