If a person desires to lose weight, following dieting advice from experts is necessary. Not eating past 8 o'clock in the evening is one of the most common tips in dieting, with advocates like Oprah Winfrey claiming that this sort of dieting scheme has been the key to her weight loss success.

A study by the assistant professor of nutrition at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Courtney Peterson, shows that an early dinner will likely burn more fats and make a person less hungry. Peterson explains that this is because of the body's internal clock carries out certain functions better at specific times of the day.

Peterson said that the best time that blood sugar is controlled is in the morning. Peterson also states that when a person eats food, the energy it takes to digest the food is a bit higher in the morning.

Nevertheless, nutritionist Tamara Duker Freuman does not necessarily believe it is bad for a person to eat after a certain time. The nutritionist however does advise that it is better for a person to eat the majority of their daily allowance during breakfast and lunch. Nutritionist Freuman said that she started noticing a common pattern where her patients were so good at limiting their calories during the day, nonetheless, her patients fell apart in the late afternoon and evening, CNN reported.

On the other hand, one of the best ways in losing weight faster is reducing white grain foods such as pasta, bread and white rice. The reason is that carbohydrates cause bloating. Author of The Park Avenue Nutritionist's Plan, Jana Klauer, M.D., stated that simple carbohydrates wreak havoc on a person's weight because these simple carbohydrates are digested very quickly, leaving a person hungry and could possibly overeat later, Express reported.
