Apple just released three twitter-based iPad Pro 2 ads making laptops look ancient and claiming that the upcoming tablets are more lightweight, last longer and more useful. The new tablets are expected to have major upgrades like the latest Apple A10X processor, more storage at 4GB of RAM, and an upgrade to 120Hz display.

A collection of iPad Pro 2 ads were released last week emphasizing that the tablets are even better than laptops. Using real people's tweets, Apple is able to highlight the many features of its Pro tablets.

The first ad shows Adriana's tweet where she complains of her heavy laptop weighing like "5 million tons" followed by a voiceover saying that the iPad only weighs a pound. Another ad from @srboilers had her laptop dying halfway through a flight while the new iPad Pro 2 promises to have an all-day battery life.

The last ad is from @Tal who cannot work in her dorm room with a roommate bringing in a study partner and doing more than studying. Apple claims that the iPad Pro 2 can hold all her notes and textbooks while being portable, allowing her to work anywhere.

As a whole, the iPad Pro 2 ads showcase what the tablets can do, exceeding laptops, now deemed as outdated if Apple were to be believed. Moreover, the new ads, not the usual TBWA\Media Arts Lab's advertising format, are more localized and user base-centered, CNET reported.

The iPad Pro 2 ads newest collection is indicative of the tablets' imminent arrival with three variants like the 9.7-in., new 10.5-in. form factor, and 12.9-in. The newest 10.5-in iPad Pro is expected to have the most innovations with bezel-less design and large display, but with the dimensions of its smaller sibling.

Apple may remove the physical home button in the 10.5-in., which is now in production for an April event launch with the larger 12.9-in. model. Among all the expected specs in processor and storage, the major upgrade to 120Hz display is highly anticipated, MacWorld reported.
