"One Punch Man" Season 2 is almost here, fans! The upcoming season will showcase both highs and lows for the protagonist Saitama.

Season 2 will reportedly introduce new creatures from the villainous group the Monster Association, according to MobiPicker. Psykos leads the faction, which directly opposes the Hero Association.

The new monsters' threat will force Saitama to undergo intense training to learn new fighting techniques so he can defeat these creatures. This isn't the only thing that awaits Saitama, though -- a romantic prospect is coming his way.

There aren't a lot of female characters in "One Punch Man" and those who are in the webcomic aren't fancied by the hero. It's safe to assume that his love interest is a new character.

A major loss is coming to Saitama if the claims are to be believed. There are hearsays that Saitama will lose in battle for the first time and it will be against Garou, a former Bang disciple who got kicked out because of his manic and violent nature. Garou's abilities rival that of Saitama, so it might be a fair fight.

There are predictions that Saitama will also fight his worst enemy -- the traitor Metal Knight a.k.a. Bofoi. The latter worked as a talented inventor of the Hero Association. His high-end inventions were made using salvaged parts from the Dark Matter Thieves shipwreck.

The source of Saitama's power may be unveiled, too, though this revelation may lead to consequences. In addition, expect the protagonist to don a new outfit and a wig to match that clothing.

Pre-orders for the "One Punch Man" Season 1 special edition Blu-ray/DVD Limited Edition set is now open. Aside from episodes one to 12, the pack also comes with six OVAs (original video animation) and other special bonus features such as trailers, clean opening and endings, and more.

The set can be pre-ordered here for the price of $53.99 and will be officially released on April 25. A special gift awaits for those who will pre-order the pack, though details as to what that might be are still amiss. Expect more info about the set to be announced soon, though there are expectations that a manual and an exclusive artwork will be included.

"One Punch Man" Season 2 is expected to be released in mid-2017. What do you think of Saitama's adventures in the upcoming season? Share your thoughts below!
