Harvey (Gabriel Macht) and Donna's (Sarah Rafferty) chemistry has been evident on "Suits" since day one. Since the legal drama's debut season, fans have shipped the will-they-won't-they couple and signs are definitely pointing towards a romance as of late.

Series creator Aaron Korsh has addressed Darvey and the pairing's shippers every now and then. In a recent interview with the USA Network, Korsh laid out the pros and cons of Harvey and Donna hooking up and going beyond their platonic boss-and-secretary relationship.

Obviously, the main pro of letting Darvey go into romance is appeasing the big chunk of shippers who want it. Korsh admitted that he wasn't thinking of Harvey and Donna being destined to be together while writing the pilot episode, nor was he planning on making them as the show's huge will-they-won't-they couple.

Korsh said Darvey is different from Mike (Patrick Adams) and Rachel (Meghan Markle). The show successfully keeps Mike and Rachel together, though a "dramatic tension" is maintained there. With Harvey and Donna, Korsh thinks that people wouldn't like to "see them having major conflict if they were to get together."

Korsh is also aware of "Suits" fans who don't want Harvey and Donna to end up. Some viewers actually want Harvey and Scottie (Abigail Spencer) to be endgame instead; others ship Harvey and Mike romantically.

Korsh said that the art of tease for Harvey and Donna is vital. He believes that "people enjoy anticipation and yearning more than they give those feelings credit."

The second half of Season 6 showcased major Darvey moments, with Donna helping Harvey reconnect with his estranged mother as the most recent. The show also seemingly hinted that the two's relationship isn't 100 percent platonic, what with Harvey dreaming about him and Donna in a post-coital haze.

Pursuing a romantic relationship will be complicated for them, though. Donna doesn't sleep with men who she works with. It remains to be seen whether or not she'll break it for Harvey.

"Suits" returns for its 14th episode titled "Admission of Guilt" on Wednesday, Feb. 15. In the episode, Harvey and Mike team up on a classic action lawsuit, while Louis (Rick Hoffman) will seek Rachel's help to impress and sign a client.

Donna and the IT specialist Benjamin (David Reale) will improve their product. Amanda Schull is reprising her role as Katrina Bennett, SpoilerTV reported.
