HTC U Play and OnePlus 3T are among the top contenders of the best mid-range smartphones found in the market today. The two phones may seem like similar to each other but there are functionalities where they differ. See the following comparison:

HTC U Play vs OnePlus 3T: Display

HTC U Play sports a Super LCD 5.2-inch screen display with 1920 x 1080 screen resolution covered with Gorilla Glass 5 while OnePlus 3T sports a 5.5-inch full HD Optic AMOLED display having the same screen resolution with HTC rival according to Android Headlines.

HTC U Play vs OnePlus 3T: Camera

Both HTC U Play and OnePlus 3T camera offers laser autofocus, PDAF, dual-tone LED flash, f/1.8 aperture, OIS for stability, however, the latter has a bit more advance specs because it offers 16MP camera compared to the former with 12MP only.

HTC U Play vs OnePlus 3T: Performance and Battery

Both smartphones are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processor however OnePlus 3T has a little bit advantage because it has the 821 processor. When it comes to performance, HTC U Play is left behind because it has 3GB of DDR4 RAM compared to OnePlus 3T with 6GB of DDR4 AM according to PC Advisor.

Both smartphones have run mostly stock Android 6 Marshmallow out-of-the-box but are upgraded to Android 7 Nougat now. However, OnePlus 3T has an advantage over its rival because it runs Oxygen OS on top.

HTC U Play measures 145.9 x 71.9 x 9 mm and weighs 161 grams. HTC has added low-end speaker named BoomSound Hi-Fi to the bottom of the phone and it available in three color variants - Topaz Gold, Carbon Grey and Glacier Silver.

On the other hand, OnePlus 3T is quite bigger than rival because it measures 152.7 x 74.7 x 7.35 mm and weighs 158 grams and available in two color variants - Soft Gold and Gunmetal.
