"The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth," an independent rogue-like video game designed by Edmund McMillen and later published by Nicalis, was released for PC and consoles back in 2014. Apple rejected it, but other platform releases were successful that the developer had to create expansion.

Despite the game's popularity back then, Apple had to turn down the offer to include "The Binding of Isaac" in the App Store due to its violent content. That didn't stop Nicalis. Now, the game has been approved by Apple and is included in the App Store. The iOS version of the "Rebirth" was released a day after the tenth anniversary of Apple.

"The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth" has been accepted but with restriction. The game will only be allowed to players aged 17 and above. Did Nicalis made any changes for the iOS version? The answer is clearly no. According to Apple Insider, the iOS version remains as it is even after they were rejected multiple times due to its content.

Meanwhile, new report suggesting an Apple TV version of "The Binding of Isaac" had come to light. The new Apple TV, being made with powerful hardware and modern operating system and powerful tools for developers allows creation of apps for the App Store, Mac Rumors reported. With this new feature, it not impossible for Apple to support the game in the Apple TV.

To those who haven't heard of "The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth," it is a game that is based on the Bible story, only it is the mother of Isaac who is going to sacrifice him. Isaac will try to escape after his mother locked him up in his room. Players will control Isaac as he fight his enemies and will eventually have to face his own mother.

"The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth," now available for purchase in the App Store is priced at $14.99.
