Moto Z Play gets huge price cuts from Best Buy, Amazon and more.

US consumers can buy Moto Z Play at a much cheaper price until Feb. 13. The unlocked device was originally $499.99 and now it costs more affordable.

Best Buy, B&H and Amazon are cutting the price of Motorola Moto Z play. For every purchase of the new handset, consumers can save $50. It is now priced at $399.99. eBay offers the slightly used smartphone with additional discount of $60.

The unlocked Moto Z Play enables users to use either T-Mobile or AT&T carrier, according to Phone Arena. The handset itself is a decent mid-ranger packing 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display. It rocks Snapdragon 625 under the hood with 32 GB internal storage and 3 GB RAM on board.

Moto Z Play gets 16 MP rear camera and a battery of 3510 mAh capacity. It runs Android Marshmallow out of the box but Motorola will likely roll out the latest Android OS version soon to the handset after Moto Z series have received the Nougat update.

Moto Z Play vs Moto M

Moto M is the first Motorola's metal smartphone but on paper, there is not much different from Moto Z Play when it comes to the hardware. Moto Z Play is better at battery life whilst Moto M wins on front-facing camera and more options in RAM.

Both handsets offer almost the same performance and with the Z Play price cuts, it would be a solid choice for users who are looking for smartphone that offers standard functionality.

The unlocked version of Moto Z Play is being offered at $399.99 at Motorola's official site, Android Authority reported. Claimed to have a long-lasting battery life, the smartphone is a great bargain especially for heavy users. Consumers can choose MotoMods and build their very-own device according to preference.
