Electronic Arts' first shooter games like "Battlefield 1" and Activision's action-packed first shooter "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" have dominated the 2016 FPS gaming scene. EA's very own "Battlefield 1" has made some big advances from the previous version, but it was Respawn Entertainment's first shooter "Titanfall 2" that's made the biggest leap and improvement.

According to The Verge, Titanfall 2 has offered the coolest missions by far in FPS category. The Respawn Entertainment's first-person shooter game Titanfall 2 has received positive reviews from critics and gaming review sites.

Similar to the first iteration," lookingTitanfall 2" is a first-person shooter in which players can control both a pilot and their Titans - mecha-style exoskeletons. But unlike its predecessor, the Titanfall 2 includes a full single-player story campaign focusing on the relationship between the Titans and its pilots.

"Titanfall 2" is the materialization of what the gamers have been looking for. The game's good combination of mechanical combat and wall-running/grapple along with some hooking/double jumping FPS ensure the first shooter game always feels fresh and more attractive.

Respawn has managed to infuse more maps, more Titans and released modes free of charge in an effort not to fragment the game's user base.

Unfortunately, last year's sales have not been great for "Titanfall 2" due to Electronics Arts' bad decision of releasing the game in late October, which seen the title being sandwiched between the two biggest shooters of the year, EA's very own "Battlefield 1" and Activision's "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare."

According to Forbes, "Titanfall 2" has always been a top choice for most gamers and would have sold better at launch if it wasn't with EA's bad decision.

Despite that situation, the publishing giant EA expressed no concern about the release window, as they felt that the user base of Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 would not make any conflict or overlap.
