Claims and speculations are currently rampant about Apple's new and upcoming smartphones. As expected, the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus aren't immune to these hearsays.

One of the most prominent claims about the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus is a Jet White color scheme. Mockups of the Jet White iPhone 7 and 7 Plus were seen in a video recently shared on Twitter by reliable leaker Sonny Dickson, Phone Arena reported. Check it out below.

The white casings serve as a third-party vendor's vision and mimicry of the Jet White iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. These casings are fake mockups because one lacks Apple's distinguishable logo seen on the tech giant's devices.

It should be noted as well that the mockups don't have a high glossy texture that Apple's devices have. Instead, the Jet White iPhone 7 and 7 Plus mockups showcase an eggshell-like texture.

Regardless, the mockup video's intent was to raise users' hopes up about the release of a Jet White iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. Apple hasn't confirmed the products yet, though, so everyone shouldn't be too confident about it for now and wait for an official announcement from the company.

In other news about Apple's latest smartphones, some users have been reporting issues in the iPhone 7 Plus' camera app. A user on Reddit named teryakiwok claimed that upon launching the app, the iPhone 7 Plus' camera displayed a black image preview.

There are times when the device will take photos and it will either be "tinted green or purple," with a screen "stating 'Emergency iPhone needs to cool down' when the handset wasn't even slightly warm." The user employed hard reset and factory restore on the faulty iPhone 7 Plus, but the camera problem persisted.

Complaints about the same issue have been made over on Reddit as far back as October aside from teryakiwok's. Value Walk reported that Apple Genius Bars has fixed some iPhone 7 Plus camera issues, but other users went to Apple stores and had their devices replaced. This means that Apple is aware and is acknowledging the issue, but refuses to comment on it.

Value Walk advised iPhone 7 Plus users experiencing the camera issue to bring the affected handset to an Apple Genius Bar. Users shouldn't wait for an iOS update to fix the problem because it's likely that the faulty camera app goes beyond a hardware issue.
