The Korean giant electronics company, LG, has announced its latest high-end monitor lineup, the 32UD99 and 34UM79M, which will bring impressive features such as 4K Resolution and HDR Support.

The HDR-compatible 32-inch UHD 4K Monitor (32UD99) along with the 34-inch 21:9 UltraWideTM Mobile+ Monitor (34UM79M) is expected to be showcased on the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas on January 2017.

First on the LG's line of 4K HDR monitors is 32UD99 that guarantees 3840 x 2160 pixels in an HDR10 standard. The compatibility with the HDR10 standard should deliver enhanced brightness levels and a wide color gamut image on screens, according to LG Newsroom.

In addition, the said monitor will be equipped with an IPS panel and True Color Pro. The IPS panel displays over 95 percent of the DCI-P3 color space, while the True Color Pro delivers pitch-perfect color accuracy appropriate for powerful gaming performance.

Digital Trends reported that the 32-inch 32UD99 will come with a USB Type-C port. LG claimed that it "minimizes the number of unsightly cables while its borderless edges and slim ArcLine stand complete its refined image."

Because of this feature, the monitor will be able to reduce cable clutter by allowing only a single cable to stream images, charge a connected laptop and execute data transfers simultaneously.

Aside from the 32 inch UKHD 4K Monitor, LG will also be releasing 2 Ultra Wide monitors, according to the press release. The 34-inch 21:9 UltraWide Mobile+ Monitor is tagged as the world's first Chromecast enabled multimedia monitor.

Carrying the model number 34UM79M, this monitor will allow users to seamlessly stream movies, music, games and more from mobile devices directly to the monitor, while its Dual Controller Plus feature gives users the ability to control both a PC and a smartphone or tablet via a single keyboard and mouse.

The second monitor is LG's 34-inch 21:9 UltraWide gaming monitor, which carries features such as AMD FreeSync technology, 1ms Motion Blur Reduction, Dynamic Action Sync, and Black Stabilizer.

LG Electronics is building a fortress on the growing adoption of the new HDR standard by incorporating HDR-capable displays to expand HDR content that ranges from movies to games. Through the professional-grade picture quality and exceptionally vibrant colors, HDR-ready monitors appeal to creative professionals and gamers.
