Reports keep pouring in about the Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017). The device is yet to be officially announced by the tech giant, but there's strong proof that the smartphone is really heading towards consumers early next year.

A phone that fits the Galaxy A3 (2017)'s description was just seen on the FCC's certification website. Naturally, many assumed that the device's existence is indeed true, though some products may still not hit the market even though they already received FCC's approval.

The device that fits the Galaxy A3 (2017) in FCC's listing carries the model number SM-A320F, which bears close resemblance to this year's Galaxy A3 variant labeled SM-A310F, according to CNET. Reports have claimed that the Galaxy A3 (2017) will roll out alongside the Galaxy A5 (2017) in mid-January for users in the Western European region.

Both handsets will have pink, blue, black and gold color variants, Phone Arena listed from Roland Quandt, a reliable Twitter leaker. The Galaxy A3 (2017) will be offered to consumers unlocked and off-contract for $365 and the Galaxy A5 (2017) can be purchased for $468, Ubergizmo noted. The availability of the devices in other parts of the world wasn't revealed yet.

Renders of the Galaxy A3 (2017) revealed that the device's appearance is akin to the Galaxy S7's. Like its pricier and enhanced sibling, the Galaxy A3 (2017) boasts of a slightly curved glass that covers its front part, Phone Arena pointed out.

The Galaxy A3 (2017) render also showed a speaker on the device's right part, a fingerprint scanner on the front, and a USB Type-C port at the bottom beside a 3.5mm headset jack. The Galaxy A3 (2017) reportedly has a 12 MP primary camera, an 8 MP front-facing shooter, 2GB of RAM, an Exynos 7870 processor or a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, and to cap it off - a 4.7-inch 720p display. The device is expected to have Android 6.0 Marshmallow as its operating system, though it's possible that it would run via Android 7 Nougat, too.
