It seems that avid gamers and fans alike of the acclaimed game studio Atlus will be pleased to know that a new studio has been opened in order to work on the upcoming "Project Re Fantasy" and other titles, as well. Fans can also expect that the key members behind the success of the "Persona" franchise will be participating in the game's production and development, as well.

It was previously reported that Atlus has garnered a good amount of success with its "Persona 5" title, University Herald noted. The Japanese role-playing game, which was released for both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 back in September, is the sixth installment in the franchise and forms part of the larger "Megami Tensei" series, as well.

That being said, it seems that Atlus has recently focused its efforts in opening a new studio, called Studio Zero, that aims to develop the upcoming fantasy RPG, titled "Project Re Fantasy," Siliconera reported.

It was stated therein that "Project Re Fantasy" is a completely new role-playing game that Atlus has been developing, which does not feature a modern setting that fans have been accustomed with like in their "Persona" and "Shin Megami Tensei" titles.

Moreover, it was also highlighted that key staff members behind the success of the "Persona" franchise will also be involved in the upcoming "Project Re Fantasy." As such, fans can expect the same caliber will be put in the game since director Katsura Hashino, artist Shigenori Soejima, and music composer Shoji Meguro wwas reported to participate in the game's development.

A statement released on the official site of Studio Zero was cited by IGN where Hashino shared to fans his intention to craft his projects as games that would run against the norm. He also said that with the forth coming new RPG, he asks fans to stand by them as they take on the challenge of giving a fresh take and a new look at the concept of role-playing games.
