Less than two weeks have passed since AMD Crimson Relive Drivers has come out and they give a huge update. The 16.12.2 update, available now, brings the driver version to 16.50.2001 but it is not paired with any games.

According to Anand Tech, most of the fixes of the update fall under AMD Crimson Relive Drivers. It fixes common issues like Radeon ReLive not being able to install on some system configurations and Instant Replay not getting enabled again after the user turned it off due to content protection conflicts. Translation errors were also fixed for Radeon ReLive and Radeon Settings. It is possible the audio being recorded by Radeon ReLive gets played back in slow motion.

Another important issue in AMD Crimson Relive Drivers fixed by the update is the recording issues by Radeon ReLive. The movement of the mouse cursor may also stutter in recorded video when there is limited on screen activity apart from minor mouse movement.

AMD Crimson Relive Drivers, according to Hexus, experiences annoying long ping times when using certain Wi-Fi adapters so it is a good thing the update fixes this. Another issue the update fixes is the game corruption DOTA2 users experience when they perform a task switch while recording with Radeon ReLive in AMD Multi GPU configurations.

In the configurations of AMD Crimson Relive Drivers, the second GPU was exiting the low power state while Radeon ReLive was activated. There were also problems encountered when screenshots were being taken of secondary displays with Radeon ReLive. ReLive had other issues like Radeon Settings not loading when the system got rebooted. When Battlefield 1 ran with Multi GPU on the RX400 series cards, flashing and graphics corruption were also found.
