Upcoming Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti's release date is rumored to be announced next year on a tech show event. A shipping manifest reveals specifics for the most high tech video card to be made.

Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti to be announced next year?

According to PC Games N, Nvidia CEO Jen-Hsun Huang will be announcing the release date of the Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti at the world's leading tech show Consumer Electronics Show. This event will be held in Las Vegas on Jan. 4. He usually takes the stage and shows off something big and something new to the crowd.

Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti manufacturer releases short video

Nvidia has released a short video, which can be viewed below, that shows the topics that Huang will be delivering during the CES inaugural keynote address. The topics will be about deep learning, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, gaming, and self-driving vehicles. They will be talking more about the consumer products rather than the hardcore PC components.

Virtual reality will still be a popular topic to discuss, which is why the release of the Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti will surely come next year. With GTX 1050 Ti and GTX 1050 having recently launched by the manufacturer, the highest numbered GPU card by Nvidia with the highest specs will be a good way to complete the lineup.

If the rumors are true about the next generation of Nvidia GPU with a code name of Volta will be revealed at next year's Nvidia Graphics Technology Conference, then it would make more sense for the GTX 1080 Ti to be announced soon. The release of AMD's upcoming new Zen processors and an early release of Vega graphics chips on the show, the upcoming release would make sense to overcome the competition.

Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti specs revealed on shipping manifest?

According to Hot Hardware, a shipping manifest has revealed the important specifications of the Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti. It shows that it will have a 384-bit memory bus, 10240MB GDDR or 10GB of RAM, and a PG611 GPU designation.
