"Jurassic World 2" has cast "The Get Down" star Justice Smith and the movie is in pre-production which is expected to start filming in England in the Spring, 2017. Those involved with the movie has done a good job keeping details under wraps but it is expected the trained Velociraptors will be the main focus.

According to Variety, Justice Smith is going to play a young scientist in the movie. He joins Toby Jones, Rafe Spall as actors who were recently cast in "Jurassic World 2." They join actors who are returning from "Jurassic World", Chris Pratt who played "Owen" and Bryce Dallas Howard who portrayed "Claire."

Before "Jurassic World 2", Smith was most famous for being the breakout star in the Baz Luhrmann-directed TV series "The Get Down" shown at Netflix. The show followed a group of teens in the 1970s Bronx as he played "Ezekiel." He also appeared alongside Nat Wolff and Cara Delevinge in Paper Towns, Fox 2000's adaptation of a John Green Ya novel. He will next be seen alongside "Manchester by the Sea" star Lucas Hedges in the Off-Broadway play "Yen" to be held at the MCC Theater.

"Jurassic World 2" is the sequel to last year's box office hit, "Jurassic World." The movie managed to score the biggest domestic debut of all time with a $208.8 million showing. It eventually hauled $1.7 billion worldwide including a stunning $652.3 million in the United States alone. It ended up becoming the fourth highest grossing movie in history, both domestically and worldwide.

"Jurassic World 2", according to The Hollywood Reporter, is directed by J.A. Bayona (A Monster Calls). The director of Jurassic World , Colin Trevorrow, is also writing the script along with Derek Connolly. He is also executive producing along with Steven Spielberg and the producers are Belen Atienza, Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley.
