Following the release of the 'Transformers: The Last Knight' trailer, rumors and questions had surfaced whether Autobot leader Optimus Prime went nuts when he appeared trying to kill Bumblebee.

Paramount Pictures has finally released the teaser for the upcoming "Transformers: The Last Knight' and just as expected, fans are thrilled to know that the movie is coming out soon but there remains the daunting question -- is Optimus Prime changing sides now?

The trailer could clearly emphasize that Paramount Pictures might have decided to make a big change in the upcoming "Transformers: The Last Knight" and it seems interesting. Optimus Prime has been known to be the fearless leader of the Autobots but in this film, Paramount seems to be kicking Prime out of the scene. Bumblebee is still there but the other Autobots are nowhere to be seen in the teaser, which remains a mystery.

In the teaser of "Transformers: The Last Knight," we've heard Anthony Hopkins say: "Two species at war, one flesh, one metal. Optimus Prime has left us," TIME reported. This statement left everyone guessing as to what will happen to the fifth installment of the franchise, will also be the last for director Michael Bay.

During a Rolling Stone interview, Bay confirmed that the "Transformers: The Last Knight" will be his last one and that he has to pass the reins to someone else. As his last "Transformers" franchise, Bay is doing his best for the fifth franchise and that is the VR project for the "Transformers: The Last Knight."

Aside from the explosive action filled "Transformers" to offer the viewers next year, Bay is also working on his VR project which will be used in some IMAX theaters when the highly-anticipated movie is shown. A report said that they will build 30 pods in select theaters for the VR so viewers can experience a more intense action from the movie.

Mark Walberg will be back in the "Transformers: The Last Knight" which is slated for release on June 23, 2017.
